Laws of the Lost I know everyone hates to read these but, without the rules, Lost in the Rain would be a mad house. Get to know them, love them, remember them, and obey them and we shall have no problems. So far, there is no code for introuducing you character in here but, we will include one if there are too many problems.
Profiles and Updates If you wish, you can post all you characters information in here. Any updates concerning a herd or land, should be posted in here so a staff member can make those changes. Please be patient with the updates for your land. Major updates will be posted in the Laws of the Lost.
Walk Away Going to be gone for any amount of time or leaving us forever? Please post it in here so that way if there is an activity check, we know if we should delete your account or not. You will be missed for any length of time that you are gone, come back soon.

Adoptions and Tryouts Have too many characters and you don't want to kill them? Well, come in here and post their stats and requirements to adopt them and then other members on Lost in the Rain can try to get them. Major tryouts for main characters will be held in here as well, only post by a staff member. No fighting please.
Rule - Breakers Basically, you can post almost anything in here as long as it isn't against the general rules of Lost in the Rain. Remember, it is all OOC (out of character) talk. You can play games, rate artwork, have random parties in here at any time. Beware, you'll see your crazy admin in here a lot, for she doesn't like rules either. Have fun members!

Caught in Pixels This idea is from Cimoron Island 2, it is not the admin's own idea. Need a picture for a character or two? Well, some members on Lost in the Rain who make graphics have studios in which you can request for a picture. Be sure to follow their rules and use their form that they have provided. Studios that have problems in them will be taken down and the problem causers will be warned or banned.

Spam/Advertise Want to advertise a site or just feel the need to spam something? Well, this is a board just for that. Remember, for advertising, you must have Lost in the Rain's affiliate banner up or else your site will be removed from our sister sites. If you wish to become an affiliate, message the admin (dazed) and she'll put up the banner. Spam away!

LAND OF WANDERINGS
Introductions All characters must have their information posted in here, if they were not born on Lost in the Rain. There is a basic outline of what you need to include, you don't have to use it. You do not have to wait to be accepted, so once you have posted, you can role play almost anywhere. Currently, there is no password to access this board. Staff will post if you forgot something in your stats.
Intenda - Claiming Mares of any alliance can come here to find a herd. There are four seperate boards for each alliance with its own description of what the land looks like. Read the descriptions for which alliance it is, please. Stallions may claim as many mares as they wish and from any alliance. If looking for a slave, ask the player of the mare if they don't mind being a slave before claiming them.

Onduria - Homeless Every equine, of every alliance is welcome here if they do not have a terrain to call home. This is where stallions and their mares can come and wait until a land opens up or a stallion challenges a current ruler. Onduria is made up of a maze of streams that run randomly throughout the land. Shade is occasional on the land, though sometime the streams make it impossible for trees to grow. There is a strange mix of darkness along with light in Onduria, so it is suitable for the four alliances.

Liten - Breeding Miles of beach stretch out, leading into small caves that can be used for privacy. There is a little light in the caves, that come from the sun that shines through the holes that are the top of the caves, so you can see. Due to proboards agreement, there can be no long breeding or role playing it out. Simply post the stats of both parents, using the form. Staff will post if you forgot something or if there is a problem.

Havanu - Battle Ground Sands stretch for miles, flowing into Liten. Waves constantly crash upon the shore, ready to wash away any evidence of a fallen equine. So far, no sand has been stained crimson but, that shouldn't last for too long. Any major or small battles should be fought in here, unless you have permission from the staff to fight elsewhere. Mock battles can be fought anywhere. Three selective staff members will judge any fight. Please include the information that is required in a battle post.

Oceana - Falls This land is just south of Havanu, the battle grounds. It is a continuation of the beach and the ocean, although there is one difference; there are waterfalls here. To the southern border of the land, there is one large waterfall and two smaller ones flanking it. Around the falls are some caves, I wouldn't go in them because they are reportedly toxic. Temperatures vary from day to day, although they are moderately cool in the morning and night. Any alliance can come here to get away from everything else.

Quintin - Foaling This is where all mares of any alliance must come to foal. Grasses grow thickly around here, for they haven't been touched in many years. A soft underfooting of sand from Oceana and Havanu run through here, combining with the grass for nice coverage and a soft landing. No long foaling or role playing it out. Use the form provided. If you forget anything, staff will post it. The staff also post your foals stats.

Treonar - Death Cliffs Several cliffs outlook over the ocean, jagged rocks pointing up through the rough waters. Most equines who wish to die go here, while others come to mourn their dead or beg them not to jump out into the open air. The air is laced with salt from the ocean but, otherwise, it is a calm place to be. Not a bad place to die at, if some would say themselves. Once an equine dies, they can not leave Treonar but, living equines can come to visit their dead. There is only one exception, when an equine from the Depths alliance summons a spirit, they may leave to only visit that equine.

Amanecer - Woodland Frondscene lines the borders of this land which is just a few miles south of Treonar. All different species of trees grow in this area, although there are more pines then other kinds. Around winter, this land freezes over and becomes coated in snow and doesn't thaw out until mid spring. Upon the hours of sunrise and sunset, the land seems to twist beneath Mother Nature's fingers. Shadows cast to the center of the land, leaving a small circle of light in the center. No one has ever been able to find out why it does this. Not many Good or Lost equines come in here, but some are more brave then others. Hint of advice, watch out for the shadows.
Northern Kingdom These lands contain the Sinner equines of Lost in the Rain. Each land holds a number of equines, not afraid to look anything in the eye. The weather is fairly mild here, though as you get closer to Witercon, it gets colder. Most would not want to mess with these equines, but a few are silly enough to. The Sinner King and Queen reside on a towering mountain, Witercon, that lies to the north of every other terrain on Lost in the Rain. Enter at your own risk.

Eastern Kingdom Equines of the Depths live within the borders of this kingdom. A chill always seems to trail whatever equine passes through any land. The King and Queen of the Depths live out off the cost of the island, but only by five-hundred feet or so. There is a large mass of rocks that lie about two feet beneath the water, providing a trail to the royal island. I'd think first before entering, you never know what secrets lie on those sands.

Western Kingdom Little does everyone know but, the Lost equines where the first to find this island, hence the reason why it was named. Almost everyday, you will wake up to find rain pouring from the clouds, soaking the lands through to the core. The royal's live up on a mountain peak, so they don't have to worry about floods but, the other lands do. For the most part, these equines are easy going but, find a mean one and watch out.

Southern Kingdom Equines of the softer heart wander within the Kingdom's borders. They were the second group of equines to find Lost in the Rain. Everything seems to be in a good mood, even the thunderclouds when they occasionally stroll through. The Royals live on a long stretch of white sand that extends to a few other lands but not many. Most visitors are welcomed, so come on in.
